Privacy Policy

CueFolio ("we," "us") helps parents discover and keep track of activities and classes for their children. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.

Who this is for

CueFolio is intended for use by parents and guardians, who must be 18 or older. Children do not create accounts or use the app directly. Any information about a child is entered by the parent who owns the account.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address, and either a securely hashed password or, if you use "Sign in with Google," your name and email from Google. We never see or store your Google password.
• Information you add about your children: a child's first name or nickname, and the activities, reflections, and notes you choose to record. You decide what to enter — none of it is required to be a real name.
• Activity usage: the activities you view, save, or log, so the app can show patterns and suggestions.
• Basic technical data: standard log information your browser sends (such as device type), used to keep the service running and secure.
• How you use the app: we use a product-analytics service that records how CueFolio is used — the pages you visit, what you tap, and session replays — so we can see what's confusing and improve it. Text you type into fields is masked, so the actual contents of your notes and forms are not captured in these recordings.

How we use it

• To run your account and keep you logged in securely.
• To save your children's activity history so it's there when you return.
• To suggest relevant activities and surface patterns in what your child enjoys.
• To send you account email, such as verifying your address.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.

When we use AI

Some optional features use an AI service to suggest follow-up questions or summarize the notes you write. This runs only when you use those features, and is used solely to generate the response you asked for — not to train outside models on your data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make CueFolio work — for example, our hosting and database provider, our email-sending provider, our product-analytics provider, and (if enabled) the AI provider described above. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your children's activity records for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time (see Contact below), and we will remove it.

Children's privacy

Because only parents hold accounts and enter information, CueFolio is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Information about a child is provided and controlled by their parent or guardian, who can review, edit, or delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can edit your children's details and remove activity records at any time. Removing a child profile is available when you have more than one. To remove your last child profile, or to request full deletion of your account and everything in it, contact us using the email below and we will take care of it.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, connections are served over HTTPS, and sign-in sessions are protected by signed cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email.
